I’m talking about texture. Yummy texture.

The further I go in this #cmldchallenge, the more I find myself loving ways to introduce texture. I’m not making bold moves. Just getting my feet wet. But, I REALLY like it. Like…like it like it.

We’ll see how deep I go down the rabbit hole. I seem to prefer subtler textures and to use all textures somewhat light-handedly. The background in the one above was enough texture for that one.

The key in this one above is done using Rusty Nib Textures by True Grit Texture Supply. I used a crumbled paper texture to do the letters in “Key”. In the background, there are some subtle lined textures.

The two below have some subtler grit textures by the same company in the background.

There’s a little more rusty nib in this one too.
Even if it’s just a little bit…I just have to have some texture these days.

It just adds a little yum, I think.
